We often spend our weekends exploring the Withlacoochee State Trail, which offers miles of hiking and biking trails through picturesque scenery. There are also plenty of local parks and nature reserves to explore, including the beautiful Fort Cooper State Park.

Inverness is also home to a vibrant downtown area, filled with boutique shops and family-owned restaurants. We love taking our children to the weekly farmers' market, where they can purchase fresh produce and handmade crafts from local vendors.

The community in Inverness is another aspect that we cherish. The residents are friendly and welcoming, always willing to lend a helping hand or strike up a conversation. The town also holds several community events throughout the year, including the Cooter Festival, which celebrated the area's native turtles, Floral City Strawberry Festival, Arts and Craft Festivals, and many more events throughout the year.
